On June 1st, of 1996, I bought my first computer. It was a Packard Bell.
For the past year, I have been trying to contact their technical support
line for assistance with this obviously faulty equipment.As of this date, I
have not been able to get through to this number.
Eventually, I decided to write to them, since my warranty was about to run
out. It took them nearly two months to even bother to answer my letter, and
when they did, this is what they had to say ...
"Packard Bell does not grant refunds for faulty computers. We either offer
service or under special circumstances an exchange is made. Refunds are
done by the place the system was purchase, however, I am not familiar with
any retailers policies concerning refunds and/or exchanges."
They also gave me another telephone number to call for customer service ...
I wonder how long it will take me to get through on this one ?!?
I'll keep you informed!
